A Pipe Fitting Apprentice for a large engineering firm will train to fit a variety of different types of piping to serve a variety of functions.
Personal skills
This position has no formal qualifications as training is provided as part of the apprenticeship. The apprentice will study towards a NVQ level 3 in Pipe Fitting as part of the apprenticeship course. Skills: good communication skills; good technical ability; willingness to learn; ability to accurately interpret diagrammatical information; good numeracy and literacy skills.
Salary
£14,000 to £18,000 per year
